I came to Kong via a Facebook Ad. Advertised as a free 6 week challenge. After the meeting with Chris, all I had to do was make a decision to try it out, or come back later if i choose. I decided that if in 6 weeks i have gotten farther than the 4 months ive been going to the edge, that id make that decision to switch over then. After my 3rd week, i was sold!!!! I knew i had to be a member. My "summer challenge" mates were awesome and Chris was so informative, and instructional. I need to know why and how, and he definitely explained why we are doing, and eating, as well as what the results will be before hand. If you are not mentally prepared to try something new and challenge your mind and body, this is not for you. you will be the only person complaining, and the only person making excuses. Dont be that person!

Great place, Great Classes, Great people. They do an amazing job at making things clear and easy to follow. I was going to a planet fitness for a few months but wasn’t getting the results I was looking for and I knew that I needed something different to push me past my hump. In what I couldn’t achieve myself in 6 months I achieved in only 6 weeks. Lost 20lbs and I feel GREAT!!! Love the intensity of the classes. Thanks again Kong 💪🏽

I have to say, I was a bit intimidated just by the word “CrossFit” but the workouts and the people are amazing. Chris the owner is very knowledgeable and motivating and his instruction is great. I’ve been doing three classes per week and I’m slightly disappointed on days when I don’t have class at Kong. It completes my day! This is a fabulous program and I’m so glad I called!

This place has been life changing for me. I participated in a six week challenge where I lost 22 pounds, 4% body fat, and increased by 8% muscle. As a former crossfit coach myself, I had trouble finding a box I really liked when I moved to Connecticut until I saw an ad for the six week challenge at Kong. Not only did I make important changes in my lifestyle that have helped my military career, I have found a crossfit box where the coaches and athletes are supportive and helpful. 100 stars would recommend!!!

Kong Fitness is a great place for people at all levels. Having never tried Crossfit I was skeptical but signed up for a 6 week challenge. I’ve lost 20+ lbs in 6 weeks and now have the tools to keep losing. I would recommend this place to any one who wants to hold them selves accountable. Set a goal and achieve it.

I highly recommend Kong CrossFit. Aside from one previous self-driven gym program experience 3 years ago, I've never participated as an active gym member nor worked with a trainer. I participated in a 6-week challenge back in September with a goal of getting back in better shape and losing weight. After my initial consult with Chris, I was confident in moving forward. Over a 5 week period, with his guidance both in the CrossFit program and with a nutritional plan, I lost 22 lbs. While my original goal was to loose weight, I came to really enjoy the CrossFit program, due in large part to Chris's enthusiastic support matched with his expertise. I have continued on as a member 3 days / week and would tell anyone who asks it's well worth it. Just be prepared to push yourself and work hard - but it's a great feeling when you finish.

I recently completed a 6 week challenge at Kong Crossfit in Shelton and will be continuing my journey toward a healthier me there. The people are friendly and helpful; the owner and coaches I interacted with are knowledgeable, approachable and supportive and meet you where you are. What I appreciate most about this gym is that the emphasis is on continuous personal progress and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I am so proud of and pleased with what I've accomplished so far. I'm enjoying going clothes shopping again and I feel healthier and stronger than I have in a long time. Thanks, Chris!

I completed the six week fitness and nutrition challenge with Kong CrossFit in Shelton. I knew nothing about CrossFit but knew I wanted to lose weight. Ten years ago I wanted to become a Mom, after four years of Fertility struggles and surgeries, I finally became a Mom. However, ten years from the start of journey to become a Mom, I now wanted to be a Skinny Mom. The six week challenge at Kong CrossFit made me accountable to show up to all classes and put 100% into each intense workout. Chris Wyant, the Owner of Kong CrossFit, and our trainer during the challenge was motivating, encouraging, and funny, even at 6am. He showed us how to do all the workout movements prior to doing them, teaching us the correct way to do each movement and helped each person individually to ensure everyone was doing it properly. The locker room and shower facility were well maintained, I had to use them as I worked out prior to going to work. Thank you for helping me transform into a Skinny Mom!
